The derby has expanded to include 7 lakes this year, and features
$8,000 in cash prizes.

CAN-AM CROWN SLED DOG RACES
Three races: 30, 60 and 250 mile distances.  90 teams participating with $40,000
in prize money.  One of the biggest races in the East.

Fiddlehead season comes to Northern Maine
A local delicacy, "the truffle of the north Maine woods".  Bring your
canoe or kayak and join the locals along the riverbeds in the annual "hunt"
for this delicious edible fern.

            Saint John River Race
              No race 2010 
              Third annual Saint John River canoe race.  A fun 14 mile canoe and kayak race
              ending in downtown Fort Kent.  Enjoy a barbecue in the park after the race.
              Race categories for all skill levels.
